We believe in education

At Know IT we have different professional and educational backgrounds and we believe this to be a strength. Some of us have backgrounds as bankers, some in insurance and some in IT. One thing that unites us is a passion for testing and quality work.

The majority of us have higher or university education. We have a few employees working on their bachelor's or master's degrees and we try to accomodate the work load and schedule to their academic needs.

ISTQB Certified Testers

The ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) was founded in November 2002 and is responsible for the international qualification scheme called "ISTQB Certified Testers". By becoming ISTQB Certified Testers our employees understand SQA processes and terminology. We offer our employees as well as our customers courses in which to study the syllabus for the ISTQB exam.

It is the ISTQB's role to support a single, universally accepted, international qualification scheme, aimed at software and system testing professionals, by providing the core syllabi and by setting guidelines for accreditation and examination for national boards. In Estonia, representatives from Know IT is involved in setting up the national board.

We expect all our employees to be ISTQB Certified Testers within four months of beginning their employment with us.
